Simply adding a three word comment just for link back to your site is considered spamming by most bloggers and is inappropriate. If you are going to expect a free and easy back links from someone else's blog you need to at least write 3 to 4 sentences that add real value to that page and/or discussion.

Use Other Methods In Addition
When it comes to building a good link portfolio for the search engines it is very important that you obtain links of other types than those from dofollow blogs. It cannot be stressed enough that having a wide variety of links from a wide variety of websites is very important in link building for search engine optimization. if you only build links to your website or blog from do follow blog commenting then you'll most likely see very poor results in the search engines. Some other types of websites that you may want to consider getting links from our social bookmarking sites, article directories, website directories, Web 2.0 sites, and video sharing networks.
